Ray Barker has worked in the sports and leisure industry for many years, managing sports centres and adventure centres, in the UK and abroad, and coaching and assisting in the management of sports clubs. He now lectures in sport and leisure management at the University of Hull and is involved with curriculum development at various awarding bodies


Ian Wood

Ian Wood has 20 years experience of delivering and assessing BTEC Sport qualifications. He now produces BTEC Sport resources to support staff and schools and colleges, as well as being involved in staff training. He has also worked in the sports industry for many years, most recently in a busy sports development department and as a regional director for the Amateur Swimming Association.
